Preoperative anxiety on postoperative pain in craniotomy patients

Aim: This study aimed to determine preoperative anxiety and pain levels in patients who underwent craniotomy investigate the effects on development of postoperative acute-chronic pain. Materials Methods: In this prospective, observational study, STAI-I (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory) STAI-II were used measure a total 104 craniotomy, visual analog score (VAS) was Demographic data patients, ASA (American Society Anesthesiologists) scores, comorbidities, VAS cause anxiety, type, duration operation recorded.
